Cultural Diversity Policy and Action Plan
GDYO Policy: GDYO is an organization fully committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in principle and in practice. Diversity, equity, and inclusion are central the the organizations current and future success and there shall be no barriers to participation in this organization on the basis of gender, gender identity, ethnicity, race, native or indigenous origin, sexual orientation, culture, religion, belief system, parental status, and/or any other characteristic that can be identified as recognizing or illustrating diversity.

To offer programming that encourages and engages in constituency diversity, and that is reflective of the Greater Dallas community we serve. To ensure our employees are increasingly diverse, are supported, and have access to opportunities for growth and development within the workplace. | 1. Increase employment of diverse employees while providing a supportive work environment directed at eliminating disadvantages on the basis of: gender, race or ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, age, caring responsibilities 2. Facilitate access to programing through engagement opportunities for members of diverse groups that, from time to time, are identified as being underrepresented in the arts community – as well as the community at large. 3. Increase staff awareness and understanding of workplace diversity principles. | Increased or maintained level of participation in identified diversity groups. Retention rate of diversity groups are equal to or higher than industry averages.
