Clarinet Choir

The Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra Clarinet Choir is the newest member of the GDYO family. It provides music education and performance opportunities for Clarinetists with demonstrated musical ability. Students audition each spring before a panel of judges with scales, solos and orchestral excerpts.

Under the direction of Dr. Jun Qian, the Clarinet Choir performs three concerts annually, where they are introduced to a large variety of repertoire.

The Clarinet Choir rehearses at the Sammons Center for the Arts on Sunday’s from 6:00pm – 8:00pm.
Members of the Clarinet Choir are in 12th grade or younger.
