Clarinet Choir

The Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra Clarinet Choir is the newest ensemble in the GDYO family, performing both arrangements of standard repertoire and works composed specifically for clarinet choir. Members are high school students, many of whom are Texas All-State musicians. In 2025, the ensemble was selected as one of only three all–high school groups to perform at the International Clarinet Association conference in Fort Worth, Texas.

Under the direction of Dr. Jun Qian, the Clarinet Choir performs three concerts annually, where they are introduced to a large variety of repertoire.
