Flute Choir
Under the direction of Mary Shinn and Priscilla Holt, the Flute Choir is the newest member of the GDYO family of ensembles. Formed in 2008, the flute choir will perform three concerts this season with one being at the Meyerson Symphony Center.


Flute Choir

The ensemble also performs at several special events throughout the season including lobby performances in the Meyerson, outreach events, pre-concert performances and more. The Flute Choir was selected in 2010 to perform at the National Flute Association Convention in Anaheim, California.

Rehearsals

The Flute Choir is comprised of 12 members, high school seniors or younger. Rehearsals take place at the Sammons Center for the Arts on Sunday evenings, 6:00-8:00 PM.
